Street Series:
The IAG Performance EJ Street Series Oil Pan for the Subaru WRX, STI, LGT and FXT features a unique design and is precision CNC machined to suit a wide range of street and track applications. This Street Series Oil Pan is built tough from cast aluminum and is designed to fit a large variety of popular headers while increasing oil capacity by up to 30% compared to the OEM version.
The IAG Performance EJ Street Series Oil Pan features external cooling fins that help to disperse heat from the oil when air flows across them. It also has a bottom facing drain plug that is integrated into the lower cooling fins at the bottom of the pan, which allows for easy access to drain the pan and to make sure that all waste oil is eliminated during maintenance changes. The EJ Street Series Oil Pan is equipped with a 1/8th inch NPT port, making it compatible with several popular oil temperature sensors. In the case that the sensor port is not used, we’ve included a 1/8th inch NPT port to seal the sensor housing.
The IAG Performance EJ Street Series Oil Pan features an internally integrated stainless steel oil baffle. Its purpose is to stop the oil within the pan from excessive sloshing, preventing cavitation that could result in oil starvation. The baffle is removable to allow for future upgrades and for easy cleaning. In contrast to welded baffles, the IAG Performance EJ Street Series Oil Pan Baffle was designed for durability and won’t crack due to vibration.
Competition series:
The IAG Performance EJ Competition Series Oil Pan features precision CNC machining and an advanced design for superior performance on both the street and the track. The Competition Series Oil Pan is manufactured from durable cast aluminum and is compatible with a variety of popular headers. This pan was developed specifically for the Subaru WRX, STI, Legacy GT or Forester XT and it provides a notable increase in oil capacity, up to 30% more than the OEM version.
The IAG Performance EJ Competition Series Oil Pan features external fins that aid in cooling the oil when air flows across them. The included oil drain plug is positioned at the pan's lowest point, providing convenient access and ensuring thorough removal of all used oil during maintenance. The Competition Oil Pan features a 1/8th inch NPT port that can accommodate various commonly used oil temperature sensors. If you choose not to use the sensor port, we also provide a 1/8th inch NPT plug as part of the package.
The IAG Performance EJ Competition Series Oil Pan incorporates a variety of carefully thought-out design elements. The drain plug uses a standard crush washer, eliminating the need to hunt for uncommon sizes. The CNC-machined mounting surface for the upper flange ensures improved hardware fitment. The pan includes a molded o-ring for sealing the flange, eliminating the need for silicone application during installation. IAG’s Competition Pan is designed to use the included OEM style Viton dipstick o-rings with a unique chamfer to aid in the installation of the dipstick and to prevent leaks.
The IAG Competition Series Oil Baffle is designed to reduce blow-by and protect your Subaru's engine from oil starvation during high RPM and G-force driving situations. The Comp Series Baffle is intended for track use, but it is also suitable for street driving applications. This baffle incorporates Viton one-way flapper valves designed to keep oil in the area closest to the pickup. When paired with the louvers in our optional windage tray, our baffle prevents oil from returning to the upper crankcase area and directs it downward into the oil pan, providing a consistent oil supply to the pickup. IAG's built-in oil baffle is compatible with the IAG V2 oil pickup and various other popular oil pickups.
